Blog My night

Hey everyone! It’s time to sit down and rest my feet. I just finished making 10 pounds of pistachio fudge, last night it was hazelnut and the night before was Dark chocolate toasted coconut fudge (I toast my coconut in a skillet) but the night before that was a big fudge making night with Peanut Butter, Peanut Butter EXPLOSION and Peanut Butter w/strawberry swirl fudge. I’m pretty sure I could do this with every spare moment I have. I would say it’s sort of like meditation for me. I think because I have everything worked out into my own little system I can relax while making fudge. With a great cup of hot tea of course. I look forward to this. I know it might sound funny but I really do. I especially enjoy coming up with new flavors. Seeing the end result and asking friends and family to taste test it for me (they don’t mind that either). It is is super exciting for me because I love to see their faces. I can usually tell immediately if it’s a winner. If it’s not a winner that’s ok also because I am blessed to have people in my life who want to see me succeed and they will tell me what they think I need to do different to my fudge for it to be just great. I really don’t mind their input.  My fudge is smooth creamy and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Like my dad always said when he cooked us kids a meal… “It’s so good it’s guaranteed to make your tongue come out and lick your ear”!  That has become our slogan. I hope you all get the chance to try my fudge and give us some feedback. We look forward to hearing from you. Well I need to get some sleep so…until next time my friends!
