Strawberry Cheesecake Fudge

Strawberry cheesecake fudge… I really enjoy making this fudge because when I first started dating my husband Nick he revealed to me that his favorite dessert was cheesecake so the first meal we cooked together we made cheesecake for dessert. That was the very beginning of my love for cheesecake. Oops I forgot to mention the drizzle of sweet/tart strawberry sauce that was on top. When I think of fudge I don’t know about you but cheesecake is not the first flavor that comes to my mind. I’m not saying that it’s not a desert to die for because it certainly is. I start by making the graham cracker crust. I pressed that crust down into each individual pan. While that is chilling in the fridge I’m making my cheesecake fudge witch begins with white chocolate fudge but then I add two packages of Philadelphia cream cheese. This cream cheese really put the cheesecake in cheesecake fudge. Most fudge recipes call for powdered cheesecake mix such as a no-bake cheesecake powder but I want you to have the experience of eating real cheesecake (fudge of course) I drizzle the top with a sweet/tart strawberry sauce. I prefer to eat my cheesecake fudge at room temperature because it softens up the buttery graham cracker crust and I am telling you now this is your fair warning you will not be able to eat just one piece so I suggest you cut them small that way you feel like you are cheating but without any regret.
